The Ice House, a concrete open-air bar opposite Manny's Beach Club, has a sign out front that promises nightly foam parties. But signage in Rocky Point, it should be remembered, is more suggestive than literal. There may or may not, in fact, be foam parties. There are wet-T-shirt contests, however, and a mechanical bull, a junky-looking contraption of padded metal surrounded by blanket-covered foam and dirty bales of hay.
