I was bored at home. No plan, no assignment, just a quiet day asking for something to happen. So I grabbed my camera and walked out the door.

I wandered through downtown Merced, my current home, looking for anything that caught my eye. Buildings, people, light, silence. I didn’t go out looking for a story. I just wanted to see what the city would offer if I paid enough attention.
